Scripture Before Scroll stores your name, email address, and a hashed (non-reversible) version of your password. We never see your actual password. All other data — your streak, prayer journal, memorized verses, and reading habits — is stored only on your device in your browser's local storage. We do not have access to it.
What we never do
We do not sell your data. We do not share your information with third parties for advertising. We do not track your behavior across other websites. Your prayer journal entries never leave your device.
Third-party services
We use EmailJS to send password reset emails. Your email address is transmitted to EmailJS solely for this purpose and is not stored or used for marketing by them. We use HubSpot to maintain our mailing list — you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.
Your rights
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Delete My Account. This permanently removes everything from your device. For any questions or data requests, contact us at hello@scripturebeforescroll.com.
Children's privacy
Scripture Before Scroll is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
